Nvidia: “Gigantic leap” – Tesla and ChatGPT inventors are thrilled

There were a few surprises at the GTC developer conference. Robots with Nvidia brains, quantum cloud products, and a new AI software platform wowed the guests. Most importantly, Elon Musk and Sam Altman want more.

Sam Altman from OpenAI/Microsoft remains loyal to Nvidia because of the “massive leaps in performance” of the new Blackwell AI system. In a new interview with Lex Fridman, he said: “Unlike normal chips for PCs, the AI market will not be saturated in the foreseeable future. The future demand is “huge”. Virtually all the AI chip power available would go into AI mail assistants or the invention of medicines.

Specifically: “The world should invest heavily in more computing power.” AI computing power is a kind of raw material and intelligence of the future.

Sam was talking about (AI) Compute, which makes a lot of sense. @sama

The demand for NVDA is going to be insane and we can’t even imagine. I recently wrote about it on Patreon too.

This is exactly what market leader Nvidia offers: compared to its predecessor A100, the Blackwell super chip GB200 delivers 2.5 times the AI training performance and even 5 times better inference performance. Elon Musk himself was quoted at the event as saying: “There is currently nothing better for artificial intelligence than Nvidia hardware.”

Time for Nvidia to sit back and collect money for the next two or three years? Not with Huang, the hard setbacks of the first few years are still driving Huang on. The next big project: the AI hardware market leader wants to become an AI foundry and sell off-the-shelf AI models to large corporations via a platform.

Nvidia is now launching a cloud service to help researchers test and develop new quantum computers. Three-quarters of quantum start-ups are already using computers from Nvidia to master fragile quantum computers.

AI, quantum, and fusion reactors

The 2030 portfolio focuses on Nvidia and numerous other AI stocks. Pure start-ups dedicated to quantum computing. Also new in Depot 2030: two stocks that are focusing on the breakthrough in fusion reactors. A quantum expert says in the new report:

“Fusion is on the verge of a breakthrough.”
